If you attempt to learn QuickBooks® by using the manual and the Help function in the software, you won't spend any money. But you will eat up large amounts of time trying to figure out how it all works and what it all means. If you take a class, you'll likely spend a good deal of money as well. But with a class you'll probably learn more. In either case, however, you are unlikely to end up with a complete and efficient accounting system that works for your business. And you probably won't have a lot of confidence in what you've got.
The alternative is personalized, one-on-one instruction. It is a bit more expensive at the outset, but it will save you both time and money in the long run, year after year.
I provide QuickBooks® instruction designed for your business. I will determine what sort of accounting system is right for you, and working together we will create that system. In the process you will learn how to use the system to generate the information you need. You will come to understand how the system is put together, and why.
When we are working together, you will be my only student. No competing for attention with classmates. I'll be there to answer your questions, as many as you care to ask. When you are working with QuickBooks® at home and have a question, I am only a phone call away. I'll review what you've done, and if appropriate, I'll make suggestions on how to improve it.
