Learn QuickBooks®

QuickBooks® can provide you with the information you need to manage your business well. Should you ever need financing, it can produce reports that could help you get the money you want. It can also manage your financial data to help make tax compliance easier. And of course, using QuickBooks® can save you both time and money. All of these benefits will be lost, however, if you don't use the software well.

"Garbage in, garbage out!"

We're all aware of the truth of this maxim. Well, it applies to QuickBooks® just as it applies to other software. You need to avoid creating garbage! Cleaning it up is expensive.

If you are not trained in accounting or bookkeeping and you do not receive proper instruction in using QuickBooks®, I can almost guarantee you will create garbage. I speak from experience, as a veteran of cleaning up many QuickBooks® messes.

You have basically three options to learn QuickBooks®. You can use the instruction manual and Help function in the software. Alternatively, you could take a class. Or you can get one-on-one instruction from someone who knows the most effective and efficient way to use the software for your business. Overall, the last alternative is the least expensive, both in terms of dollars and emotional strain.
